Life Just Isn't.....

Life isn’t about keeping score. It’s not about how many people call you and it’s not about who you’ve dated, are dating or haven’t dated at all. It isn’t about who you’ve kissed, what sport you play, or which guy or girl likes you. It’s about not about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin or where you live or go to work. In fact, it’s not about the grades, money, clothes, or work that accept you or not. Life isn’t about if you have lots of friends, or if you are alone, and it’s not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn’t about that.

But life is about whom you love and who you hurt. It’s about how you feel about yourself. It’s about trust, happiness and compassion. It’s about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. It’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. Most of all, it is about choosing to use your life to touch someone else’s in a way that could never have been achieved otherwise. These choices are what life’s about.

My favorite thing is to go where I've never been.

Studying in Taiwan would always be one of my greatest experiences. It was a dream come true for me for I had always dreamed of studying abroad. I thanked God for making it possible for me to achieve a dream that I thought was out of my reach. Few months after I graduated from college, I went to Taiwan to learn Mandarin Chinese. Studying at NKNU has been a big opportunity for me to improve my education and knowledge in Chinese  My classes at NKNU have been challenging and fulfilling at the same time.  My teachers are very passionate and enthusiastic to help you in any way they can to make sure that you will learn.  Since NKNU is an international school I have had the opportunity to make many international friends.  I could not have chosen any better place to study but NKNU. ❤

Guilt and Regret

"I wish I could be one of those people who live life without any regrets, who makes decisions in a carefree manner and never looks back. I know several people who live life this way and I envy that they are able to do this. But I’m most definitely not one of those people. I work over most decisions, big and small, and even after spending hours deliberating and carefully weighing the pros and cons, I often still look back afterwards and wish I could change the choices I’ve made."

A sunset is beautiful, but it lasts only so long. Once it’s over, it’s over.

We must learn to let go. To do so, acceptance is the key. We needn’t settle, but we all have a reality we must accept. As much as we might want to, we’ll never be able to hold on to a sunset. Likewise, we can’t retain every thing and still lead meaningful lives. Life is fulfilling only when we allow ourselves to let go, when we allow ourselves to be in the moment, when we allow ourselves to feel the moment. After all, this moment is life’s only true reality.

Every Day
