Studying in Taiwan would always be one of my greatest
experiences. It was a dream come true for me for I had always dreamed of
studying abroad. I thanked God for making it possible for me to achieve a dream
that I thought was out of my reach. Few months after I graduated from college,
I went to Taiwan to learn Mandarin Chinese. Studying at NKNU has been a big
opportunity for me to improve my education and knowledge in Chinese My classes
at NKNU have been challenging and fulfilling at the same time. My teachers are very passionate and enthusiastic
to help you in any way they can to make sure that you will learn. Since NKNU is an international school I have
had the opportunity to make many international friends. I could
not have chosen any better place to study but NKNU. ❤

Guilt and Regret
"I wish I could be one of those people who live life without
any regrets, who makes decisions in a carefree manner and never looks back. I
know several people who live life this way and I envy that they are able to do
this. But I’m most definitely not one of those people. I work over most
decisions, big and small, and even after spending hours deliberating and
carefully weighing the pros and cons, I often still look back afterwards and
wish I could change the choices I’ve made."
A sunset is beautiful, but it lasts only so long. Once it’s over, it’s over.
We must learn to let go. To do so, acceptance is the key. We needn’t
settle, but we all have a reality we must accept. As much as we might
want to, we’ll never be able to hold on to a sunset. Likewise, we can’t
retain every thing and still lead meaningful lives. Life is
fulfilling only when we allow ourselves to let go, when we allow
ourselves to be in the moment, when we allow ourselves to feel the moment. After all, this moment is life’s only true reality.
Every Day
"This is what love does: It makes you want to
rewrite the wold. It makes you want to choose the characters, build the
scenery, guide the plot. The person you love sits across from you, and
you want to do everything in your power to make it possible, endlessly
possible. And when it's just the two of you, alone in a room, you can
pretend that this is how it is, this is how it will be."

Make Use of Positive Attributes
All of us without exception have our moments of doubt. We all experience those times when we question our self-worth, our talents, and yes, even our God. No man can be so sure of himself that he can remain immune to worrying doubt throughout his lifetime. Every woman even the strongest, is confronted with fearful doubts about herself sooner or later.
Usually, doubts creep into our inner-selves when unfortunate and unpleasant incidents happen which cause devastating blows to our self-confidence and upset us. When we seem no longer in control of the situation, we become doubtful and doubt gives rise to confusion; and confusion gives birth to fear. Fear of the unfamiliar and the unknown.
There are countless similar circumstances that all cause us to doubt and fear for our inner security and physical well-being. You look at sad situations, then they boil down to one common denominator: Loss of faith in one’s self and the loss of faith in the power that guides our destinies in a loving and sure way.
It is truly amazing how quickly so many of us sink into the sands of near despair even if, during most of our lives we have been blessed countless times. How quickly we forget the good things that happened to us. How short is our memory for uncountable blessings we have received. How easily do we fall into negative thinking.
The truth is that we all have countless reasons to look at life with a smile - even when things do not go our way. The gift of life is one that is renewed every day. We have all - without exceptions - been blessed with at least some worthwhile talents that cannot be taken away from us in times of crisis. We can take consolation in the fact that we are never useless or completely helpless. We all possess inner power and strength which are more than enough to carry us through the most painful experiences. What we need to do is make use of these positive attributes. The rest will follow and things will happen to make the sun shine once again.

There's No Tomorrow For A Memory
Far too many of us spend precious time living in the past and crying over history. We wallow in self-pity. We feel sorry for ourselves in the hope of getting others to join us and share our depressed feelings. Instead of picking ourselves up and turning over a new leaf, we remain on the ground.
Perhaps it is because we feel safer there. We do not have to run the risk of getting hurt again. Life can be awfully messy at times. Everybody sometimes gets badly beaten. There is no man who doesn't bleed from the heart once in a while. What is important is that we learn from our memories and grow in the future.

Love Needs To Be Carefully Guarded
There is a line in a popular song some time back. It expresses perhaps the most passionate wishes of lovers. It goes something like this: “You’re mine, all mine, now and forever….”
When two people fall in love, deeply in love, they get that certain feeling of security. They think themselves so very fortunate to have been brought by coincidence or by force of circumstances. While in a midst of experiencing all the intense emotions that are the ingredients of true love, lovers fell that their love is indestructible and will last till their dying days.
Well, things are just not so. With love, reality is harsh and hard. The truth of the matter is that countless love relationships are shattered every day all over the world. Every hour, there are courtships spinning out of control, friendships going sour, and relationships crashing onto the rocks.
This is cold, raw reality which can hardly be denied. As a result, disappointments, heartaches, and heartbreaks abound. I’m sure that if you are sensitive and care enough to look around, you can easily see many people whose dreams and expectations in love have been shattered. And you will find people whose hearts have been broken more than once because of a love that failed to work out.
Perhaps one of the reasons people are emotionally brought to their knees by unsuccessful love relationships is that far too many think that, once they have found their true love, things must last forever. Maybe it’s because they refuse to accept the very real possibility of a breakup. Consequently, they don’t guard their love with the attention that it demands. They get careless and overconfident. And before long, although things are going out of control, they don’t accept the reality of what’s happening. Then everything simply explodes and the parties involved wonder what happened. Love is a delicate plant. It needs twenty-four-hours-a-day care. And unless it is carefully guarded, it dies a terrible painful death.
